With the desire to stand alongside the Vietnamese Government and share support with the people in Northern Vietnam who are heavily affected by storms and floods, as well as to fulfill the commitments and responsibilities of the AEON Group towards society, based on the group’s business philosophy of “pursuing a stable peace, respecting human beings, and contributing to the local community,” AEON Group has made contributions to support the affected citizens through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. The donation ceremony was attended by the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Ho Chi Minh City and representatives from AEON Group companies.
The contributions from the AEON 1% Club Fund and companies within the group, such as AEONMALL Vietnam, AEON Vietnam, AEON Delight Vietnam, AEON TopValu Vietnam, and AEON Fantasy Vietnam, were directly transferred to the account of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Ho Chi Minh City. With extensive experience in disaster response in Japan, we will always support the local community during natural disasters. AEON Group in general and AEONMALL Vietnam in particular actively participate in disaster prevention and response activities, such as providing essential relief supplies, evacuation sites, and organizing disaster preparedness drills.
The AEON 1% Club Fund was established in 1990 with the goal of developing a variety of initiatives focused on “Environmental Protection,” “Global Cultural Exchange and Human Resource Development,” and “Promoting Local Cultural and Social Development.”
AEON Group, along with AEON MALL Tan Phu Celadon, hopes that this support will help alleviate the difficulties faced by those heavily impacted by Typhoon Yagi, assisting them in quickly recovering and rebuilding their lives.
