Hurom was founded in 1974 with the vision of becoming one of the leading home appliance manufacturers. From 1979 to 1998, the company focused on producing smart kitchen appliances.
In 2005, Hurom developed its first slow juicer based on the globally patented Slow Squeeze Technology (SST). Since then, the company has continuously improved slow juicer technology and launched many high-end slow juicer lines used by millions of customers around the world.
In 2010, Hurom slow juicer was voted as a world-class Korean brand product
In 2013, Hurom received the Red Dot Design Award, one of the largest and most prestigious design awards in the world.
