To ensure safety for all participants and visitors, the organizers have established several mandatory regulations for those attending in cosplay.
Participants are strictly prohibited from bringing the following items:
Real weapons
Replica weapons based on real firearms, including light air guns (pellet guns, BB guns, etc.), long-range weapons that may cause injury, or incomplete weapon assemblies
Items made from real metal, including real swords, knives, blades, scythes, and similar objects
Live ammunition
Throwing objects toward the audience
Open flames or any form of fire, explosives, smoke devices, laser beams, or similar hazardous items
Participants must comply with the following costume guidelines:
Outfits must not include military-related designs or combat uniforms, including camouflage patterns
Costumes and accessories must not display the national flag of any country
Revealing or inappropriate outfits that may cause discomfort in public spaces are not permitted
In addition, if the organizers determine that any costume or prop is inappropriate—even if not explicitly listed above—the organizing committee reserves the right to request the participant to leave the mall premises to ensure the safety of the event and surrounding visitors.
Participants and photographers are allowed to use DSLR or professional cameras to capture moments at the event. However:
Lighting stands and photography backdrops are not allowed in public areas
Photographers may only set up lighting equipment in the rest area in front of Hotpot Story
